Scott Sinclair

Scott Sinclair was named Director of Strength and Conditioning on January 6, 2016, at University of Georgia after serving three years in the same position at Marshall University. He has been part of an integral part of the coaching and support staff that led the Bulldogs to the College Football Playoff National Championship back-to-back during the 2021-22 seasons. During his tenure at UGA, the Bulldogs have also won three Southeastern Conference titles (2017, ’22, ‘24), played in four other SEC Championship Games and earned eight consecutive appearances in a New Year’s Six Bowl game. The 2017 ‘Dogs also played in the CFP national championship game.

Under Sinclair and his staff’s training, Georgia has stressed the importance of the Bulldogs finishing a game as strong as they start a contest.  The Bulldogs have posted five seasons with at least 12 wins since Sinclair’s arrival, including the record-breaking 15-0 campaign to win their second straight national championship.  In 2024, Georgia outscored its opponents by 66 points in the final period and held those opponents to the lowest cumulative quarter total (60) for the year.

 Sixty-three Bulldogs have been selected in the NFL Draft since the 2017 season, including Travon Walker going as the first pick in the 2022 draft and 16 other first round selections.  In addition, Sinclair has helped develop winners of the 2017 (Roquan Smith), 2021 (Nakobe Dean) and 2024 (Jalon Walker) Butkus Award, 2021 Chuck Bednarik Award (Jordan Davis), 2022-23 John Mackey Award (Brock Bowers), 2019 Lou Groza Award (Rodrigo Blankenship), 2021 Outland Trophy (Davis), 2018 Paycom Jim Thorpe Award (Deandre Baker) and 2022 Manning Award (Stetson Bennett).

Zac Woodfin

Zac Woodfin is in his second season with the Titans as director of sports performance. He arrived in Tennessee with 18 years of experience in the strength and conditioning field. Prior to joining the Titans, Woodfin served two years for the United States Football League and United Football League (2022-23) as the director of player performance and wellness, overseeing the leagues athletic performance training staff.

Prior to his time with the USFL/UFL, Woodfin was the director ofathletic performance at the University of Missouri (2020-21), th University of Kansas (2017-19) and the University of Southern Mississippi (2015-16). Near the end of his time at Southern Miss, Woodfin was named interim director of athletics while the university conducted a search for its permanent director. During that time, Woodfin handled the Golden Eagle football strength and conditioning needs and also oversaw the other 15 Southern Miss sports.

In 2014, Woodfin served as the head strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater, the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He won Footballs Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year award while helping the Blazers improve from 2-10 in 2013 to 6-6 in 2014. From 2011 to 2013, he received his first NFL coaching experience as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Green Bay Packers.

A native of Prattville, Ala., Woodfin played linebacker at UAB and became the football programs all-time leading tackler (372 career tackles). He entered the NFL in 2005 as a rookie free agent with the Packers and also spent time with the New Orleans Saints (2005), Baltimore Ravens (2005-06) and Houston Texans (2007). He also played in NFL Europe for the Frankfurt Galaxy (2007). Woodfin started at linebacker for the Galaxy and helped lead the team to the 2007 World Bowl.

Mike Irr

With a career spanning thirteen seasons in the NBA , Mike Irr is the driving force behind Alpha Athletic Development. Armed with a passion for sports performance, health, fitness, and rehabilitation, Mike is dedicated to unlocking the full potential of athletes and active adults.

During his NBA career as a head strength & conditioning coach, Mike designed, implemented, and oversaw each teams strength & conditioning program while collaborating with other sports medicine professionals and the coaching staff. In his fifth and final season with the Atlanta Hawks in 2023, the team finished the season third healthiest in the league.

Before Atlanta, Mike spent three years with the Golden State Warriors from 2015-2018. During his time with the Warriors, Mike was part of two NBA Championships and helped maintain player health during their historic 73-win season. He was an integral part of the sports medicine team that helped keep some of the leagues best players strong, healthy and available.

Mike also served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Charlotte Bobcats from 2008 to 2011, where upon being hired, he was the youngest lead strength coach in the four American professional sports. Prior to the Bobcats, Mike began his NBA career as the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Chicago Bulls from 2006 to 2008.

The pursuit of knowledge is ingrained in Mike’s DNA. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2006 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and, in 2015, obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mike’s education allows for a unique and comprehensive approach to training movement, strength, and injury prevention.

Caden Williams

Caden Williams is in his second season as the Sports Science Specialist for the University of Georgia Football program. In this role, he collaborates directly with the coaching staff to inform practice decisions, supports sports medicine in athlete rehabilitation, and works alongside strength and conditioning to connect weight room performance with on-field success.

Before arriving in Athens, Williams advanced sports science initiatives at the University of Alabama while completing his master’s degree in Exercise Science (2023). At Alabama, he played a central role in GPS monitoring, force plate testing, and velocity-based training for football while also leading performance science strategies for all Olympic Sports.

Williams’ coaching journey also includes a season with TCU Football under Coach Kaz Kazadi in 2022, where he contributed to player development in the weight room and supported the implementation of GPS monitoring as the program expanded its sports science approach.

He began his career at Oklahoma State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a focus in Strength and Conditioning. While there, he worked extensively with Olympic sports and co-founded the Oklahoma State University Golf Research Institute of Performance (GRIP). His work at GRIP bridged academic research with applied performance testing, directly contributing to the success of the university’s nationally renowned golf programs.

Throughout his career, Williams has focused on integrating technology, performance monitoring, and applied strength and conditioning to drive athlete development and competitive excellence.

Will Townsley

Will Townsley is the Director of Strength & Conditioning at IMG Academy, where he leads a staff of 25 full-time coaches serving more than 1,600 full-time athletes across ten sports. Now in his 12th year at IMGA, Will has been instrumental in building systems that emphasize culture, leadership, and aligned performance standards at scale. He collaborates across disciplines, including sport medicine, mental performance, nutrition, and performance science to create unified, athlete-centered environments that drive both development and buy-in.

During his first nine years at IMG Academy, Will led the Baseball Academy and helped build one of the most successful developmental pipelines in amateur sports. Under his direction, the program supported the growth of hundreds of college commits and more than 50 MLB Draft selections. In addition to his work in the academy setting, he has overseen the training of professional athletes from the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, Olympic Track & Field, Speed Skating, Bobsled, Handball, Cricket, and other high-performance environments.

Will’s leadership approach is rooted in culture architecture, mentorship, and systems thinking. He has focused heavily on coach development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and creating environments where values translate to daily behaviors. His work extends beyond physical preparation and centers on building structures that sustain accountability, enhance communication, and elevate staff cohesion.

Prior to IMG Academy, Will served in the tactical setting as part of the U.S. Army Special Forces THOR3 program. He also spent time with the Atlanta Braves organization and at Wichita State University. He earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Exercise Science from Wichita State.

Robb Rogers

With over 40 years of coaching experience, Robb is an authority on performance training. At universities including Missouri, Southern California, Baylor and MTSU; professional sports including the NHL’s St. Louis Blues and Richard Petty Racing in NASCAR Robb has spent the last several years training the military. Robb has coached emerging, scholastic, collegiate and world-class performers in a variety of sports and disciplines. Robb’s has been named a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach and Conference and National Strength Coach of the Year.

Finally, Robb has been blessed to have the opportunity to consult with the NBA D League, New South Wales Special Police, German National Hockey League, China’s Olympic coaches, and the West Point of China. “I have been so blessed to be a coach for my entire adult life giving to the students and athletes I’ve been lucky to teach. I have learned and been blessed so much more than I could ever have hoped or dreamt when I began.”

Joe Kenn

Coach Kenn is the Vice President of Performance Education for Dynamic Fitness and Strength. He is in his 4 th decade in the strength and conditioning field and has held positions in the private sector, high school, collegiate, and professional settings.
